Modular Synthesizers
Have you already heard about Modular Synthesizers?
In these machines, each module has a specific task and does it perfectly (think about Linux). The modules are then patched (pipes!) to generate sounds, then music.
The musicians need solid artistic capabilities as well as strong technical skills (think about Exoscale engineers).
There is no space for fake DJing here, only know-how. All is played live and artists cannot replay the same content, even if they master their machine.
